In the city of Suzhou, China, the MASPV and SMART ENERGY companies have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at transforming the digitalization of the energy sector through advanced technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence. This agreement seeks to promote a more efficient and sustainable energy transition by integrating energy generation, storage, and consumption into a single digital platform.
The alliance, which also includes Digien, a startup specializing in innovation and security in energy transactions, aims to establish an interconnected ecosystem that links solar plants, retailers, and end consumers. Ángel Serrano, CEO of MASPV, highlighted the goal of creating sustainable energy communities through solutions that ensure the security and traceability of energy transactions.
The collaboration is enriched by the contribution of SMART ENERGY, which will offer its platform to improve energy management, and MASPV, which will share its experience in photovoltaic projects. The project contemplates the implementation of accessible modular hardware, facilitating its use at both industrial and domestic levels, and the use of cloud platforms to manage distributed assets and optimize operational efficiency.
Energy efficiency will be promoted through machine learning systems that will optimize energy use, while sustainability will be incentivized by reducing dependence on fossil fuel sources. A key aspect of the project is traceability: each kilowatt-hour generated will be recorded and encrypted using blockchain, guaranteeing the transparency and authenticity of energy transactions.
Serrano noted that this agreement represents a significant milestone in the digitalization of the energy sector. MASPV is committed to going beyond its activities in the photovoltaic field to build a collaborative and sustainable energy model. With more than 500 megawatts installed globally, the company positions itself as a leader in the sector and seeks to offer self-consumption solutions that promote both cost reduction and independence from the power grid.
