A minor detained in Valladolid for ramming an officer with a scooter and vandalism.

The National Police have carried out the arrest of a minor after an incident on Avenida de Gijón in Valladolid, where he rammed an officer with an electric scooter. The clash began around 2:00 a.m. this Friday, when officers responded to a call reporting a group of youths damaging shop windows and street furniture. Upon arriving at the scene, they observed two individuals on scooters who, upon noticing the police presence, attempted to flee at high speed.

During the pursuit, one of the officers tried to intercept the minor on foot, while the other continued in the patrol vehicle. At a critical moment, the young man accelerated and rammed the officer, causing him to suffer a serious knee injury that required surgery. After a struggle, the minor was finally detained and was found in possession of a bag of hashish. Subsequently, he was transferred to police facilities and handed over to his parents after the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office was informed.
