Madrid drives economic development with the bidding for 16 new plots for business use.

The Madrid City Council has taken a significant step to boost the city's economic development by launching a public tender for the sale of 16 municipal plots. This plan is designed to attract investments and promote economic activity, providing a platform for expansion for companies in various sectors.

The parcels are strategically distributed across eight districts: Hortaleza, Moncloa-Aravaca, Villaverde, Villa de Vallecas, Carabanchel, Usera, Ciudad Lineal, and Vicálvaro. This geographic diversity allows investors to choose locations that best fit their business and logistical needs.

The size of the plots varies significantly, from 1,200 m² to more than 34,000 m², adding up to a total of more than 90,000 m² of buildable area. These spaces are designed to accommodate both small businesses and large developers with long-term ambitions, offering a broad spectrum of opportunities for the establishment of industrial or service facilities.

The price range of parcels is equally diverse, starting at 413,000 euros and reaching up to 28.8 million. This ensures that both SMEs and large corporations have the opportunity to participate in this initiative.

To facilitate the process, the City Hall has divided the sale into two bidding rounds: one for four lots and another for twelve. This structure enables a clearer and more organized management of the competition, promoting the participation of interested parties with different projects.

This initiative not only intends to generate municipal revenues. One of its main objectives is to revitalize urban areas through the promotion of new economic activities. The plan includes job creation and the strengthening of the local business fabric, thereby contributing to the revalorization of the city of Madrid.

The strategic approach of the City Council aims to maximize the use of municipal assets, establishing a solid foundation for new economic opportunities. With this action, Madrid positions itself as an attractive destination for business investment, potentially transforming its urban and economic landscape in the coming years.
