The Contemporánea Condeduque cultural space, located in Madrid's Culture, Tourism and Sport area, is preparing to host a unique experience on the upcoming November 1 and 2. On these dates, «Wayqeycuna», a ritual work created by Tiziano Cruz, a prominent Argentine director, author and performer who belongs to the Quechua and Aymara Indigenous communities, will be presented.
Wayqeycuna is a piece that honors the deceased and constitutes the closing of the trilogy "Three Ways to Sing to a Mountain". The work promises to offer a profound cultural reflection, combining ancestral elements with contemporary artistic expressions, and bring the audience closer to the rich traditions of South American indigenous culture.
The event will not only enrich Madrid's cultural landscape, but it will also enable an intercultural encounter where ancient traditions are celebrated and ancestral wisdom is shared. This performance is an exceptional opportunity for Madrid residents and visitors to experience a ritual that transcends borders and times.
Alongside Wayqeycuna, Tiziano Cruz also participates in the workshop "Bread for the World," thereby expanding the cultural and educational offerings of the venue. This set of activities reaffirms the commitment of Condeduque and Cruz himself to the promotion of cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue.
The work of Cruz is a call to memory and respect for the ancestors, inviting reflection on our roots and our connection to the past. Thus, for two days, the Madrid audience will be able to immerse themselves in a sensory and spiritually enriching experience that will surely resonate in the attendees' memory.
