CEO Paulius Motiejunas and President Dejan Bodiroga have warned that Barcelona may lose its A License if it fails to meet the required capacity of 10,000 seats, with the current stadium holding only 7,585 since its last renovation in 1994. Delays in the construction of the new basketball arena, due to the Espai Barça and Camp Nou projects, have forced the team to consider building a temporary structure or moving games to the less accessible Sant Jordi arena, though this option faces resistance from club members.
