Vertiv Launches Innovative Compact UPS to Optimize High-Density Data Centers

The Vertiv PowerUPS 9000, launched on a global scale, is available in models with UL and CE certifications, with capacities ranging from 250 to 1250 kW per unit. One of the most notable features of the PowerUPS 9000 is its compact design, which is 32% smaller than previous Vertiv models, making it easier to integrate into small spaces. In addition, it is compatible with a new generation of batteries, including Vertiv™ EnergyCore lithium-ion batteries and other energy technologies.

Each Vertiv PowerUPS 9000 power module operates with individual and dual controls for communication and control, which are hot-swappable. This functionality allows modules to be automatically isolated in the event of failures, ensuring continuous operation without interruptions. Its solid-state static bypass switch is also highlighted, which optimizes the system's continuous operations.

This high-performance system can be managed through Vertiv™ Next Predict, an approach that integrates predictive maintenance, monitoring, analytics, and data-driven state-based control. Thanks to artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, operational efficiency is maximized and the durability of the equipment is optimized.
