The Community of Madrid has announced an investment exceeding 1.5 million euros aimed at strengthening social infrastructure in Valdemoro. This budget allocation will directly benefit the Estrella de Elola Occupational Center and the San Luis Gonzaga Day Center, both focused on the care and development of people with disabilities.
The Estrella de Elola Occupational Center offers specialized care to 53 people with intellectual disabilities. With this injection of resources, it is expected to improve the conditions and expand the inclusion and personal development programs for its users. These resources will enable the optimization of the educational and leisure activities that take place at the center, fostering the autonomy and skills of each participant.
On the other hand, the San Luis Gonzaga Day Center, which has the capacity to serve 19 people with physical disabilities, will also benefit from this investment. The objective is to improve therapeutic and support services, ensuring an appropriate environment for the holistic development of its users.
The investment reflects the Community of Madrid's commitment to strengthening social services and to supporting vulnerable groups. With this type of initiatives, the aim is to generate a positive impact on local communities, promoting social inclusion and improving the quality of life for people with disabilities.
Local officials have expressed their satisfaction with this financial allocation, highlighting the importance of having well-equipped centers and trained staff to provide the necessary care to these groups. The community of Valdemoro celebrates the measure as a step forward toward a more just and supportive society.
