Treezor, one of the leading European companies in the Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) sector, has taken a significant step in its expansion across the continent by opening new branches in Italy, Spain, and Germany. This advancement reinforces the company's vision to become the preferred partner for businesses and regulated entities in Europe, consolidating its position as a leader in embedded finance.
Recognized as an accelerator for organizations seeking to integrate financial services, Treezor has stood out for its ability to export successful models and adapt them to local particularities. The launch of local IBAN numbers in these new markets reflects this pan-European approach. Since early 2025, a notable 70% of the new business opportunities come from European countries outside France, demonstrating the success of its expansion strategy.
Italy is shaping up as a key market, contributing more than 30% of the new projects. In collaboration with leading companies such as WithLess, Solidus, and Homepay, Treezor has established a strong presence. In Spain, 19% of new projects are developed with partners such as Vitaance and Bueno Pay. Germany, for its part, represents 14% of the new collaborations, supporting innovative companies such as Bling and Matera.
Cédric Cassini, Treezor's Commercial Director, highlights that the growing confidence European companies have placed in its platform is driving its presence in the market. Offering modular solutions aligned with local regulations, Treezor facilitates the launch of new offerings and supports the expansion and evolution of its clients.
The Treezor platform is highly valued for its adaptability to a variety of use cases, from B2B payments and employee benefits management to crowdfunding and personal payment accounts. Its secure infrastructure, in compliance with strict regulations, provides a reliable foundation for the development of new projects, serving as support for both emerging startups and large regulated institutions.
The president of Treezor, André Gardella, emphasizes the importance of anticipating regulatory changes in a dynamic financial environment. In the face of future regulations, such as PSD3, Treezor has demonstrated its agility in turning challenges into opportunities, reinforcing its leading position in the European BaaS market.
Since its founding in 2016, and under the regulation of the ACPR in France, Treezor has processed more than 120 million transactions and issued 7 million cards. Its influence in the payments ecosystem continues to grow, supporting numerous European unicorns in the sector.
