Startups from Madrid Innovation compete for leadership in the South Summit 2024 final.

There are only three weeks left before Madrid hosts one of the most anticipated events in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship: South Summit 24. This event, supported by the Madrid City Council, will be the epicenter where entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders in the technology and business sector will come together to share ideas and explore new opportunities. The appointment is marked on the calendar for June 5, 6 and 7, and it will take place at La Nave, the Madrid City Council's largest innovation center.

Four startups from the Madrid Innovation ecosystem have been selected to participate in the final phase of the prestigious Startup Competition at South Summit 24. These companies not only represent the talent and creativity that characterize Madrid's entrepreneurial scene, but also symbolize the city's commitment to innovation and technological development.

In La Nave, three of these promising startups are located:

  1. Ailin: This company stands out for its disruptive approach to health solutions. Ailin has captured the industry's attention with her innovative proposals, which positions her as a force to be reckoned with in the sector.

  2. Imageryst: An innovative solution that automatically extracts satellite information, streamlining strategic and operational decision-making on a global scale. Imageryst combines artificial intelligence and remote sensing, enabling non-technical users to get the most out of satellite imagery through its intuitive platform and powerful API.

  3. Ucademy: Redefining the educational landscape, Ucademy offers a platform that democratizes access to high-quality learning opportunities. This startup seeks to transform the way we access and experience education.

In ILab, another innovation center of the Madrid City Council, lie the other two finalist startups:

  1. Vitaance: In the field of health and well-being, Vitaance is leading with advanced solutions that promise to revolutionize the sector. Your work has stood out in various areas, earning a place in this final phase.

  2. Export ManagerAI: Known as the "ChatGPT for market intelligence", this startup uses artificial intelligence to help increase sales, optimize business strategies, and develop action plans. Its innovative approach has captured the attention of the business community.

The inclusion of these startups in the final phase of the Startup Competition is not only a recognition of their potential and excellence, but also a testament to the vibrant innovation ecosystem that Madrid has been developing in recent years. Many of these companies have already received awards and have secured investments, which underscores their ability to grow and succeed in a competitive market. At South Summit 23, another startup from the Madrid Innovation ecosystem turned out to be the winner, which adds more expectation to the participation of the new finalists.

On April 23, the presentation ceremony for South Summit Madrid 24 was held with the participation of Madrid's mayor, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, and the founder of the event, María Benjumea. During this event, a report was presented on the socio-economic impact of the South Summit, which reflects encouraging figures for Madrid. Spain's capital positions itself as the leading city of the national entrepreneurial ecosystem, with the highest percentage of startups in the country (31%) and ranks third in Europe in the number of startup accelerators.

With only three weeks to go until the event, Madrid is preparing to be the hub of innovation and entrepreneurship, with these four promising startups ready to leave their mark at South Summit 24. Good luck to all of them!
