Schaeffler has revealed the expansion of its product line with the launch of a new series of precision angular contact ball bearings. Specifically designed for driven tools, these new products arrive under the slogan 'Innovation across every axis' and they promise to be a cost-effective solution characterized by high precision and rigidity, key aspects for stable and efficient machining processes.
Dubbed PTB (Precision Tool Bearings), the bearings are available in the 70 and 719 size series, with shaft diameters ranging from 10 to 50 millimeters. Its versatility is manifested in its ability to be used on both shafts and bevel gears, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
One of the main characteristics of PTBs is their robust internal construction, which allows them to absorb high machining forces, both axial and radial. With P4-class functional precision, these bearings not only ensure the stability of machining processes, but also increase productivity. Available with shut-off options and pre-greased with the high-quality Arcanol grease “Speed 2.6,” its design is intended to allow pairwise adjustments in any configuration, which adds significant flexibility in use.
The manufacturing processes for this new series have been optimized to offer a solution that maximizes both technical and economic efficiency, adapting to original and refurbished equipment.
With more than 75 years in the motion technology and mobility industry, Schaeffler positions itself as a reliable partner by offering innovative products and services that promote electric mobility and sustainable and efficient chassis solutions. The company, with around 120,000 employees and more than 250 facilities in 55 countries, is recognized as one of the largest innovative family-owned companies in Germany.
