Samsung Reveals Innovative Bespoke AI Washers with Energy Efficiency at IFA 2025

As part of the IFA 2025 trade fair in Berlin, Samsung Electronics will showcase its latest innovations in the laundry sector, presenting the new Bespoke AI washing machine, with an impressive A-65% energy efficiency, together with the second generation of the Bespoke AI laundry combo. These new models reaffirm Samsung's commitment to energy efficiency, smart technology, and modern design, adapting to the needs of global consumers.

Jeong Seung Moon, executive vice president and head of the R&D team for Samsung's Digital Appliances division, commented on the new A-65% washing machine, highlighting the innovation in convenience and energy efficiency. One of the most notable features is AI Wash+, which allows adapting to a greater variety of fabrics through customized design options that seek to improve the user experience.

The A-65% washing machine stands out for its energy consumption that is 65% lower than the European minimum standards for Class A efficiency, thanks to its advanced motor and optimized washing algorithms. AI Wash+ automatically adjusts water, detergent, and wash time according to the fabric and how dirty it is. It will be available in the new Neat White color in addition to the usual dark steel, with a 7-inch touchscreen to make its use easier and integration with SmartThings.

Complementing the washing machine, Samsung will introduce a matching dryer in Neat White, which incorporates AI Dry+. This function optimizes drying time and energy consumption, reducing both by 20%.

The new Bespoke AI laundry combo, in its second generation, increases the drying capacity by 3 kg and reduces the drying time by 20 minutes, improving the structural design and preheating. Among the new features, it includes AI Wash & Dry+, capable of detecting additional fabric types such as denim and outdoor clothing. It also highlights the Auto Open Door+ feature, which automatically opens the door after the cycles to minimize humidity and odors.

This combo offers cycles tailored to current routines, such as the 79-minute Super Speed cycle and a 39-minute cycle specifically for shirts, among others. The touchscreen interface has been updated with an intuitive design that makes selecting options easier.

Available in Korea, the combo will arrive in two designs: Normal and Infinity, the latter with an elegant concealed touch door, reflecting Samsung's commitment to a premium design.
