Samsung Electronics has taken a significant step in expanding its innovative cloud gaming platform into Europe, initially focusing on the UK and Germany markets. From now on, Galaxy device owners in these regions will be able to access an extensive catalog of premium mobile titles without the need to download or install games, taking advantage of the immediacy offered by cloud technology.
Seline Sangsook Han, Samsung's Executive Vice President, highlighted the rapid growth of the platform since its launch in North America last year. The solution has emerged as a strategic vehicle for partners and developers to connect with the vast Galaxy user base, leveraging new discovery tools and cloud-based features that facilitate user retention and instant access to games.
Samsung plans to transform its Mobile Games Hub, turning it into an epicenter for all those who enjoy gaming on Galaxy devices. The redesign will aspire to improve the connectivity and the social aspect of the Hub, while innovative ways to discover games across various categories are introduced.
The collaboration with Moloco, an advertising company powered by artificial intelligence, reinforces this initiative. Moloco Ads will allow mobile game advertisers to achieve better results in terms of user acquisition, increasing ROI efficiency and player engagement.
SpinX Games has already witnessed these benefits, doubling its advertising ROI through collaborations on Samsung's platform. Cameron Zhang, CEO of SpinX Games, emphasized the effectiveness of the instant access offered by the platform, which allows players to immerse themselves in the games with a single tap.
In an effort to attract more developers and publishers to the Galaxy Store, Samsung has adopted a new 80/20 revenue-sharing model, ensuring that a larger share of the revenue goes back to the creative hands behind the games.
With these improvements underway, Samsung Mobile Games Hub is shaping up to be a more personalized and collaborative environment, promising to unveil new updates that will offer an even more immersive gaming experience for fans. More details about these innovations are expected by the end of the year.
