Visual Revolution: Samsung Presents the Smart M9 Monitor with QD-OLED Technology and AI

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its innovative line of Smart Monitors, highlighting the flagship M9 model, along with significant improvements in the M8 and M7 models. This new series integrates the advanced QD-OLED technology in the M9 and AI-powered discovery tools, offering a more personalized screen experience for work and entertainment.

According to Hoon Chung, executive vice president of Samsung Electronics' Visual Display business, the Smart Monitor series continues to evolve based on how people work, watch, and play. With the introduction of QD-OLED technology and AI-powered improvements, the M9 provides a more sophisticated screen experience on a versatile device.

The Smart Monitor M9 is a pioneer in incorporating QD-OLED technology in this category. This 32-inch, 4K-resolution monitor delivers deep contrast and vibrant colors, providing an immersive visual experience ideal for productivity, streaming, and gaming. Equipped with the OLED Safeguard+ system, the monitor protects the display's integrity and minimizes the risk of burn-in. Additionally, its anti-reflective finish guarantees clear visibility even in bright light conditions.

Among its features, the M9 includes the AI Picture Optimizer, 4K AI Upscaling Pro and the Active Voice Amplifier Pro, which improve image and sound quality in real time according to the content and the environment. The monitor transforms into a smart entertainment hub, offering access to streaming apps, Samsung TV Plus, and Samsung Gaming Hub. The possibility of cloud gaming without a console or PC is a reality, in addition to supporting a 165 Hz refresh rate and a 0.03 ms response time.

In turn, the M8 and M7 models offer 32-inch 4K UHD displays with vibrant image quality and advanced artificial intelligence features. These models include discovery tools such as Click to Search to facilitate navigation and content control. In addition, they are designed to be flexible, integrating with SmartThings and offering Multi Control and Multi View features.

The new series of monitors will be available in 32-inch sizes and will begin to reach global markets during this month. Samsung has assured ongoing support, with up to seven years of One UI Tizen updates, so that users can enjoy the latest features over time.
