The resolution detailing the lists of selected and reserve candidates for the visiting faculty positions in the United States, Canada, Germany, and China for the 2025-2026 academic year has been published. This announcement marks the start of a process in which the selection of teachers will not be considered final until several country-specific requirements are met.
For candidates assigned to Germany, it is essential that they sign a contract with the relevant authorities. In China, in addition to being contracted with the educational center, it is mandatory to obtain the 'Foreign Expert Certificate' issued by the Chinese authorities. On the other hand, those selected for Canada and the United States must receive a formal job offer from the hiring authorities of these countries.
A crucial step in this process is obtaining the necessary documentation according to the destination country: the corresponding visa for the U.S. UU. and China, and the work permit for Canada. In addition, proper management of the necessary paperwork is required.
The selected faculty members who hold civil servant status must, on an individual basis, process the grant to enjoy the administrative status of special services. This procedure will be carried out before the appropriate services of the Education Departments of the autonomous communities or the relevant originating administration.
