The University Hospital of Henares, in collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and the Coslada City Council, organized once again its traditional charity Zumba event, aimed at promoting health, exercise, and social engagement. This initiative took place last Friday, October 17, at the Antonio López Cultural Center in Coslada, and managed to bring together a diverse group of participants.
Numerous female cancer patients, accompanied by their families, as well as healthcare professionals and community members, gathered to support this charitable cause. The activity, centered on movement and music, sought not only to promote a healthy lifestyle, but also to create a space of support and solidarity for those facing cancer.
The day was marked by an atmosphere of enthusiasm and cooperation, where Zumba served as a tool to bring the attendees together around a common goal: the fight against cancer. These kinds of events not only allow promoting healthy habits, but also reinforce the importance of community support in times of adversity.
The collaboration between the University Hospital of Henares, the AECC, and the Coslada City Council highlights the commitment of these entities to public health and the well-being of citizens, offering a platform for the community to actively participate in initiatives that combine physical exercise and solidarity.
