The city of Madrid is getting ready to host one of the most anticipated and magical traditions of the year: the 2025 Three Kings Parade. Under the motto 'The night of fulfilled wishes', the event promises to dazzle with its grandeur and creativity, marking the apex of the Christmas season in the Spanish capital.
The parade, which will begin at San Juan de la Cruz Square at 6:00 PM, will travel along the emblematic Paseo de la Castellana and the Paseo de Recoletos, ending at the iconic Plaza de Cibeles. It will be here where Melchior, Gaspar and Baltasar will deliver their traditional speech, prior to the expected distribution of gifts to Madrid's children.
More than a thousand people, including pages, Renaissance flag-bearers, fantastical creatures, and adventurers in flying machines, will accompany the Three Wise Men on a procession that is shaping up to be a true visual spectacle. The presence of mechanized fauna and African figures adds a special colorfulness, fusing tradition and modernity.
Madrid streets will not only witness this majestic parade; inside Plaza de Cibeles, the night’s main stage, there will be a display of circus, music, and dance that will begin at 6:00 PM. Numerous artists, such as the Smile Producers and the TOOMPAK Company, will offer performances that promise to capture the attention of the attending audience until the arrival of the royal floats.
To ensure that everyone can enjoy the event, the parade will have several grandstands available along the route, including more than 500 seats at Cibeles. Additionally, five designated zones are reserved for people with disabilities, thereby ensuring accessibility for all citizens.
The magic does not end with the warmth of parades and shows. An exciting finale with fireworks, accompanied by the powerful theme music from Handel's Messiah, will cap off the evening, lighting up the Madrid sky and sealing this gathering with a message of hope and unity. The live broadcast, provided by RTVE and Telemadrid, will allow the event to be followed not only nationally but also internationally.
This year, the Parade has substantial support from sponsors and collaborators, including El Corte Inglés, Amazon, and the LEGO Group, ensuring not only the success of the event, but also its sustainability and quality.
The Madrid City Council's commitment to turning this celebration into an inclusive event is also reflected in its solidarity distribution of seats, inviting social organizations to facilitate access for hospitalized children and people with reduced mobility. Thus, the Three Kings' Parade is not only synonymous with celebration and joy, but with solidarity and unity among generations and different cultures.
