Samsung Electronics has taken a bold step in the world of television entertainment with the launch of an exclusive channel on Samsung TV Plus that will air the Jonas Brothers' tour 'JONAS20 Greetings From Your Hometown' live. Starting on August 10, fans will be able to closely follow the performances in several cities across the United States, with access to behind-the-scenes moments, surprise guests, and the band's biggest hits.
The tour thus becomes the first live event to be broadcast on the new Samsung Television Network (STN) channel, which will be available exclusively in the United States. In addition to concerts, STN will offer a varied lineup that includes popular programs such as 'Killing Eve,' appearances by well-known figures such as David Letterman and Conan O’Brien, and live broadcasts of sporting events.
Salek Brodsky, Senior Vice President of Samsung TV Plus, highlighted the collaboration with the Jonas Brothers as a reflection of the company's commitment to connecting audiences with their favorite artists, directly from the comfort of their homes.
The concerts include dates at iconic venues such as East Rutherford, Dallas, Milwaukee, Orlando, and Buffalo. The band members have commented that this tour is a celebration of their origins and a way to thank their fans. "Broadcasting it live on Samsung TV Plus means that we can include every fan, no matter where they are," they noted.
With an impressive track record that includes more than 17 million albums sold and multiple Grammy nominations, the Jonas Brothers continue to be leading figures in pop-rock worldwide. Their new album, 'Greetings From Your Hometown', will be released on August 8, ahead of the start of the prestigious tour.
The transmission of 'JONAS20' through STN will offer an innovative experience, allowing fans to enjoy the show from home, organizing viewing parties, or connecting virtually with other fans. Samsung TV Plus, accessible on a variety of Samsung devices, promises to enrich the television experience with personalized and high-quality content.
