The Fourth Getafe Employment Fair Attracts Thousands with a Broad Range of Employment and Business Opportunities.

The Fourth Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair in Getafe has confirmed its position as the most prominent in the Community of Madrid. With more than 6,000 attendees, the event offered 411 job openings through its web platform, in addition to internship opportunities, training, and career guidance.

The event brought together 72 companies and entities, along with 14 training centers, offering a varied range of sectors such as aerospace, healthcare, transportation, services, trade and hospitality. The fair has consolidated itself as a bridge between training and employment in the region.

The mayor of Getafe, Sara Hernández, stressed the importance of the event: "These results demonstrate that Getafe is at the forefront of public employment policies in the Community of Madrid. Our fair is the most complete and the one that best connects training with real work."

Organized by the Getafe City Council through the Local Employment and Training Agency (ALEF) and Getafe Initiatives (GISA), the fair facilitated direct interaction between companies and job seekers, helping to fill many hard-to-fill vacancies. Several companies have already begun interviews and have presented internal training programs with direct hiring.

In addition, agreements were reached between educational centers and companies for the implementation of vocational training internships. Civil society organizations took advantage of the opportunity to promote labor market integration programs for groups at risk of social exclusion.

The diversity and quality of the contents was another crucial aspect of the success, with conferences by renowned speakers and hands-on workshops that attracted a high level of participation. The Gamer room stood out, where attendees discovered their professional profile through the game, and the interactive workshops to improve skills.

The Getafe Job Fair reaffirms itself not only as a meeting point between companies and job seekers, but as a comprehensive platform to boost the economy, training, and the future, establishing the city as a benchmark in the labor market.
