The Community of Madrid has announced a significant investment of 4.1 million euros for the expansion of the El Molar Health Center. This project aims to improve the care for the 35,000 residents of the Sierra Norte, and it is expected that the works will be completed in the summer of 2026.
The works are carried out on a plot of 3,037 square metres, where a single-storey building will be constructed. This new structure will be connected to the existing primary care facilities, which are also scheduled to be renovated as part of the improvement plan.
The initiative responds to the need to modernize and expand health services in the region, adapting them to population growth and improving the quality of care. Local authorities have highlighted the importance of this investment for the well-being of residents of El Molar and nearby areas.
The commitment to improving health services in communities outside the urban core reflects an effort to balance access to quality healthcare across the region. With this project, the Community of Madrid reaffirms its commitment to providing adequate and modern infrastructure that meets the current and future needs of its citizens.
