The 080 Barcelona Fashion bids farewell to the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau in its 36th edition, which will take place from October 14 to 17. According to the organizers, the iconic building has become too small, and the runway is seeking a new space that will allow it to grow in the number of fashion shows and activities. Moisés Rodríguez, director of the Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion, announced that although they cannot reveal the future location, they assure that it will be a larger and more attractive space, in which the public will be able to enjoy a meaningful experience related to Catalan fashion.
This year, the runway will feature 25 fashion shows from renowned labels such as Custo Barcelona and Dominnico, in addition to providing space for emerging brands and sustainable projects such as '080 Reborn'. The head of the fashion department, Marta Coca, emphasizes that these brands contribute to the event's identity, establishing the 080 as a nexus with the global scene. As a novelty, for the first time, '080 Beyond Crafts' will be presented, a space dedicated to contemporary crafts, which will include the participation of various artisans and their works, focusing on the craft of millinery.
