Fujitsu and NVIDIA Strengthen Collaboration to Develop AI Infrastructure with Self-Evolving Agents

Fujitsu has taken a significant step by expanding its collaboration with NVIDIA to create a high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, designed to accelerate enterprise adoption and industrial transformation. This joint effort presents a platform of AI agents and an advanced computing architecture that integrates the FUJITSU-MONAKA CPU with NVIDIA GPUs, interconnected via NVIDIA NVLink-Fusion. The initiative responds to the growing demand for efficiency in sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, and robotics, without compromising corporate autonomy.

The agreement between both companies focuses on the development of a self-evolving platform for AI agents, optimized for various industrial sectors. The platform will integrate Fujitsu's workload orchestration technology and NVIDIA's capabilities, enabling customization by customer and sector. Additionally, the AI infrastructure will include the FUJITSU-MONAKA CPU series, combined with NVIDIA GPUs, with the aim of improving performance at scale.

Takahito Tokita, CEO of Fujitsu, emphasizes that this collaboration will accelerate AI-driven business transformation, especially in sectors where Japan is a global leader. For his part, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, highlights the importance of shared infrastructure to drive the AI industrial revolution.

The alliance strengthens the focus on productivity and security, leveraging technologies such as NVIDIA NeMo for the evolution of agents. Additionally, the delivery of services will be facilitated through NVIDIA NIM microservices, enabling faster and more efficient deployments. This will be key in the creation of digital twins and in the automation of different industrial processes.

In terms of governance, the platform offers multitenancy and security mechanisms that allow organizations to maintain control over their data and access policies. In addition, the aim is to create a robust ecosystem of partners to expand the use of the technology globally, starting with Japan.

Collaboration also has a strong focus on sustainability, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Fujitsu and NVIDIA seek to make the world more sustainable and competitive through technological innovation.

This move marks a major advance in the development of comprehensive AI infrastructures, responding to market expectations for less friction in deployments, predictable costs, and performance guarantees. Thus, Fujitsu and NVIDIA position themselves as leaders in digital and industrial transformation, adapting to a context of growing demand for automation and sustainability.
