Arts Festival: Concerts, Performances and Parades to Celebrate Cultural Diversity

Barcelona prepares for the Festa Major of Barceloneta, which will take place from September 26 to October 5, 2025. This festival pays homage to Saint Michael, the patron saint of the neighborhood, and promises a vibrant combination of ancestral traditions and modern activities. Attendees will be able to enjoy iconic events such as the Sant Miquel Canyon departure, the Sea Giants, and the traditional correfoc, as well as contemporary offerings that include concerts, gastronomic routes, and sporting activities. Among this year's highlights, a scavenger hunt at the neighborhood establishments and a festive closing with a DJ and confetti stand out.

The program encompasses a wide range of activities for all ages. From guided tours and dance workshops to concerts and tastings of local products, the festival will offer nonstop entertainment. St. Michael's Day, on September 29, will include circus performances and a floral offering at the neighborhood church. The celebration will culminate with a parade of banners and a gospel concert on October 5, in addition to DJ sets and a festive atmosphere in the squares of Barceloneta.
