They find the body of the missing young man on Los Muertos Beach, Almería.

The Civil Guard has confirmed the discovery of the lifeless body of a 27-year-old man who had been missing since last Sunday in the waters off Los Muertos Beach, in Carboneras, Almería. The discovery was made in a rocky stretch of the coastline, where it was sighted by authorities after an intense search that included the collaboration of the Maritime Rescue Service and Civil Protection. The disappearance of the young man occurred when he ventured into the sea with three friends, despite the fact that he was waving the red flag, which indicates extreme danger for swimmers.

From the moment of the disappearance, an extensive search operation was launched, which included the participation of various rescue and maritime surveillance units. Three of the young people managed to reach a rocky area, while a fourth who attempted to help them was rescued by Civil Protection personnel. The tragedy has led the City Council of Carboneras to express its condolences and to remind people of the importance of respecting the safety signs on the beaches, especially in adverse conditions.
