The Real Madrid Foundation has taken a step forward in its social commitment with the expansion of its Emprendeporte program, in collaboration with the Madrid City Council's Department of Sports. Originally designed to promote well-being among men and women who are unemployed, the program has been expanded with a new initiative called Emprendeporte Plus, specifically targeted at people in transition from unemployment to retirement.
This innovative project has as its main objective to combat sedentary behavior among the retired population, promoting active and healthy aging. By staying physically active, participants not only improve their physical health, but they also achieve emotional balance, which is key during this vital stage.
With the support of Unicaja, the sessions are led by qualified professionals who provide physical exercise along with essential values such as teamwork, personal growth, and responsible autonomy. Beyond physical training, the program includes coaching sessions dedicated to strengthening self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-control, vital skills for facing the day-to-day challenges.
This holistic approach in which exercise and personal development are combined not only aims to improve the participants' physical health, but also to enhance their emotional well-being. In this way, a positive and proactive attitude is promoted, fundamental for those who seek to adapt to new lifestyles.
The Emprendeporte program, since its inception, has proven to be an effective tool for improving the well-being of unemployed people, and with its recent expansion, it continues to affirm its commitment to social welfare, positively impacting the quality of life of its participants.
