The Ruber Internacional Hospital has taken a significant step in Madrid's private healthcare sector with the inauguration of its new Emergency Department, which will begin operations on October 1. This innovative project focuses on immediacy, medical excellence, and continuous care, offering 11 individual rooms with a private bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for patients and their companions.
Under the direction of Dr. Javier Taboada, an expert in Internal Medicine, the unit has a multidisciplinary team composed of more than 15 experienced professionals in emergency care. This group encompasses specialists in key areas such as Family Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, and Coronary Care Units, ensuring comprehensive care from admission.
Standing out for its high-resolution circuit, the service allows completing diagnoses, treatments and same-day follow-up planning, with advanced technologies such as radiology, CT, and MRI available. Its proximity to the operating rooms and ICU facilitates rapid interventions in complex situations.
The service, designed for private patients, does not accept insurers and aims to minimize waiting times. Patients receive immediate attention from a specialist physician upon arrival, ensuring speed and clinical safety. Adapted to handle various complexities, the model prioritizes efficacy, personalization, and quality of care.
"This model transforms urgent care, eliminating waiting times and offering immediate comprehensive care," says Dr. Taboada, indicating that the service is fully integrated with the rest of the hospital's specialties for coordinated follow-up. The objective is to ensure that every patient has rapid access to all available specialties and resources.
The new service will operate 24/7 year-round, covering pediatric, gynecological, obstetric, and adult emergencies. "We are born with the vocation to be a reference in Madrid's private emergency services sector," says Dr. Taboada.
As part of the Quirónsalud group, Ruber Internacional Hospital is recognized worldwide for its quality, advanced technology, and qualified professionals, underpinning its model in safety and continuous improvement of healthcare.
