Madrid. The General Mutuality of Civil Servants of the State (MUFACE) has published today a new resolution, dated May 29, 2025, in which a program of study scholarships is announced for its mutualists. This initiative aims to promote ongoing training among workers serving the Public Administration.
The scholarships are aimed at civil servants who wish to broaden their knowledge in different areas, thereby promoting their professional development and contributing to improved performance in their duties. The program covers everything from funding for specific training courses to postgraduate and master's studies, adapting to the various needs and aspirations of the applicants.
The resolution establishes the eligibility criteria and the selection process, opening opportunities for diverse educational and professional levels. Among the conditions, priority will be given to those who demonstrate a commitment to their education and an outstanding academic record.
The application period starts next month and will extend until the end of the quarter, allowing interested parties to submit their documentation electronically. Additionally, a telephone helpline has been established to resolve doubts and facilitate access for those who wish to participate in the call.
The president of MUFACE, in an official statement, has highlighted the importance of these scholarships, stating that "investing in the education of our officials is key to improving the efficiency and quality of public service". He also highlighted that the initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize and professionalize the public service.
The reactions among the civil service community have been positive, with multiple statements on social media praising the mutual's commitment to the training of its members. Nevertheless, some have urged that in future calls the number of scholarships be expanded and that financial aid be increased.
