The General Secretariat for Vocational Training has announced the call for grants intended for modality 2 of the national network of centers of excellence in vocational training for the year 2025. This initiative is framed within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and is funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU fund.
According to the publication in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on September 30, 2025, the centers that are already part of this network will be able to apply for funding to improve and enhance their programs. The total financial allocation amounts to 33 million euros, with a maximum limit of 500,000 euros per center.
This effort seeks to strengthen centers of excellence by facilitating resources that promote innovation and quality in vocational training. The objective is to foster an educational approach that responds to the needs of the labor market and enhances the integration of students into it.
The interested parties will have a period of 10 calendar days, starting on October 1, 2025, to submit their applications. The initiative underscores the commitment of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports to the development and modernization of vocational training in Spain, aligning with Europe’s goals of sustainable growth and post-pandemic recovery.
