Getafe is preparing to welcome an explosion of creativity and energy with the Urban Culture Festival, which will take place on October 11 at the Juan de la Cierva Civic Center. The event, organized by the Acción en Barrios and Youth delegations, seeks to integrate young people into the social and cultural life of the city, providing a space for art, music, and sports.
The councilor for Action in Neighborhoods, Ana González Mariscal, emphasizes the importance of this initiative to bring young people closer to civic centers and to foster their participation in the community. Although the event is primarily aimed at young people between 15 and 35 years old, the day will be open to all citizens who wish to enjoy the activities.
The cultural offering includes a Mural Contest, where 20 artists, selected by a jury, will showcase their talents by painting live in the Plaza de las Provincias. In the afternoon, the excitement will move to the BREAKCONIC Couples Dance Championship, which will feature a distinguished jury and the participation of DJ Mustafá and MC Tito África, who will energize the competitors with their rhythms.
