Following a recent publication in the Official Bulletin of Castilla y León, new deadlines have been established for the submission of applications and documentation related to accidents. This regulation affects both the claims arising since September 1, 2023 up to the date of publication of this order, as well as those that occur during the 2023/2024 academic year.
For accidents occurring between September 1, 2023 and the date of publication of the order, a ten-business-day deadline has been set for submitting the applications and the required documentation. This period shall begin counting from the day after the publication of the aforementioned order in the Official Bulletin of Castilla y León.
On the other hand, for claims that occur during the 2023/2024 academic year, the deadline will likewise be ten business days. However, in these cases, the calculation of days will begin from the day after the accident.
This regulation aims to streamline the accident management process, thereby facilitating a faster and more efficient response to those affected. The authorities are calling on citizens to pay attention to these dates and to begin the procedures as soon as possible, complying with the established deadlines to avoid potential inconveniences.
