On July 10 of last year, Anhui, a Chinese province, revealed details of the upcoming World Manufacturing Convention 2025, which is shaping up to be a key event in international collaboration within the manufacturing sector. Under the slogan "Smart Manufacturing, a Better Future," an innovative video was presented in which an AI robot was invited to participate, exemplifying Anhui's aspirations to establish itself as a crucial manufacturing hub and its commitment to global cooperation.
The event, scheduled from September 20 to 23 in Hefei, the capital of Anhui, has raised expectations by bringing together dignitaries, industry leaders, Fortune Global 500 executives, representatives of international organizations, and delegations from around 50 countries. The main focus will be the exploration of strategies that drive high-quality development in the manufacturing sector.
Backed by the State Council and organized in conjunction with the Anhui Provincial Government and the National Advisory Committee for the Construction of a Manufacturing Power, the convention has established itself since 2018 as an essential platform to showcase China's most advanced manufacturing equipment. This year, the event will also feature the Artificial Intelligence and Consumer Electronics Exhibition, and the China International Digital Economy Exhibition (Hefei).
