The city of Madrid dressed in gala attire to host the 2025 Pharmacy Awards ceremony, an event held at the emblematic Palacio de Cibeles. The gathering brought together prominent projects, brands, and professionals from the pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic field, in a night that shone with talent and innovation.
The capital's deputy mayor, Inmaculada Sanz, had the honor of inaugurating the ceremony. Among the attendees, influential personalities such as model Nieves Álvarez and Naty Abascal stood out, along with representative figures from the pharmaceutical sector and from the communications sector.
These awards aim to celebrate the year's most notable achievements, selected through a nationwide public vote during the month of September. A crucial aspect of the gala is the prohibition on nominated companies becoming sponsors, thereby ensuring the event's transparency. This year, the sponsors were Cencora Alliance Healthcare, Andersen, and Farmaciasdirect.
La Roche Posay took home the award for Best Dermocosmetics Brand, while Forté Pharma shone in the Best Nutricosmetics Brand category. Superlativa was distinguished as the Revelation Brand, and Oral-B Braun received the award in oral hygiene. Cumlaude Lab stood out as the Best Supplement Brand, and Eucerin's Hyaluron-Filler Epigenetic Serum was recognized as the Best Innovation Product.
The actress Ana Milán was named Best Brand Ambassador for her collaboration with L’Oréal Paris, highlighting her influence in promoting pharmaceutical products. In the field of communications, Boticario Fernández and Blanca González Rufino were awarded as Best Pharmaceutical Content Creator and Best Science Communicator, respectively. The Vogue magazine was also recognized as the best media outlet in the sector.
A particularly moving moment of the gala was the presentation of the Professional Career Award to Carlota Olaizola, a pharmacist who is a pioneer in natural medicine and anti-aging supplementation. Their work in improving the health of the patients was commended by all those present.
In addition to the awards, the night included a roundtable discussion where experts discussed the current challenges and opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector. The digitization of pharmacies, data management, and modern communication with customers were central themes of the dialogue.
Solidifying its status as a key event on the calendar of the pharmaceutical industry in Spain, the Pharmacy Awards foster synergy among the diverse actors in the ecosystem. Public participation in the vote not only celebrates the year's protagonists, but also strengthens the bond between the community and the sector.
